Hi!

I just sat in front of a mirror and tested all my brand new 901 batteries with a clock. 5 of them have a 2 second cut-off, the other one has a 3 second cut-off. I’m determining this by the LED. Are these all defective? All were charged for 8 or more hours on two different chargers that I received with the batteries.

I did this test as I was getting no vapor and felt like I was just sucking air.

Thank you!

Dang, I think the best bet would be return them for a usb passthrough.

Also you could return them and upgrade your battery/switch to a better one if you dont want to have a cord/passthrough attached. (if you have 801 you can get janty switches/batteries/charger)
or
Just use the passthrough with the cord running to a small kingston battery pack in your pocket, lasts days of power without charging some people on forums said that battery pack lasted em 3 days with still 2/5 power idicator lights on.

Tell us what pen model you have and we can let you know best way to get it working before you decide to do anything like return or buy new stuff.

I don't have a 901 and I haven't had that prob before, sorry. I wish I could give you more info on the proper draw or fill. If you don't find help here, maybe the technical problems or model specific area of the forum. I wouldn't think it would be 2 chargers at once with the same prob. What does your manual say? Any clues in it?

Not sure on the fluctuating draw. Maybe a light on again off again draw?

He said they have received some defective batteries and will be replacing mine first thing tomorrow, and will test them all before shipping! I will return the defective ones to him also.

He also said they have been swamped sorting and putting away another huge shipment and getting orders shipped.

If you need him call on the number he posted here a while ago because they have been too busy to get on here or email.

Well, not that it makes you feel any better... but it certainly makes me feel a bit better to know someone else had six batteries and couldn't get any to work any length of time. I was beginning to think it was the operator over here. lol

I am really happy the supplier is making good on your batteries. I have not yet heard back from mine.

I figured with 6 batteries, I should be good to go. But, so far... I am about to grab an analog for the first time in two weeks because everythig is dead.
