Is it possible to use an eGo battery board as just an electronic button?

Bypass is impossible. Only resolder burnt mosfet. IRLML6402 will do.
Mosfet is a switch.

mosfet is switch in this schematic. It simultaneously regulates and switches atomizer on. Mechanical button does not switch power, it only controls the schematic.

I was too lazy to do it myself.
I had ohmed out part of it, like the Mosfet.


What do you think about the lack of over voltage protection?

Am I missing something?

that board ego have a mosfet and an PNP tranzistor, so second tranzistor it`s PNP

Well FWIW here's another one.

Anyway ego electronics it`s a bull......first short circuit and mosfet will crack, it`s no good for this purpose, maybe if change with a 10-20 A mosfet works, but talk about other dimension (big mosfet ).

jho, the eGo Mosfet does fail often. The mosfet is cut off with short, but some of the short still gets through.

I wonder what Joye has done to improve this problem. and the problem of over charge protection.
