2.1 ohm. I'm running it in a vivi nova s...day 3. It doesn't matter if I run it at 6, 9, or 13 watts, this thing is flooding after every vape.

I've opened my lips to adjust the airflow. No avail...less draw is worse, most of the time.

It happens when it's full, 3/4 full, 1/2 full, doesn't matter.

Bad gurgles...it's filling up the battery connector every time...I'm really wasting juice!! I didn't have this problem with the Nautilus BVC coils...so, my question is, does this one sound like a dud?

ETA: It doesn't even seem like it's getting hotter at higher watts. It just spits slightly warm juice into my mouth...ech.

I had the same problem with 1.8 ohm BVCs in a ET-S and Mini Vivi Nova-S. Tried multiple coils with 50/50 liquid. They all just kept gurgling, leaking like crazy, and shooting hot liquid. Then I tried the same coils in a Mini Davide and K1 and they worked fine. Think it's a combination of better airflow and the designs of the Davide and K1 seem to limit wicking somewhat. Some people have success using the BVCs in the older BDC clearos, but I've seen other complaints of the same issues you and I had. Supposedly there are BDC clearos floating around with different air hole sizes, which could explain why some work with BVCs and some don't.

I think there is a difference between the BVC coils I don't know that they are necessarily interchangeable. I copied this from Discount Vapers site, but I have seen the same reference on others as well as I just purchased a Nautilus mini and was doing research, I wanted to get a higher ohm so I was looking at the BVC 2.1 ohm and then saw where it doesn't work with the Nautilus, I was only able to fine the Nautilus BVC coils in 1.6 & 1.8 ohms. So the Nautilus BVC coils are different then the other Aspire BVC coils. Maybe that's why your tank worked with the Nautilus coils but not the one your using.

Aspire BVC Replacement Coils 2.1ohm - 5 Pack

These are the NEW Bottom Verticle Coils - The Aspire BVC are Bottom Vertical Single Coils while the original Aspire BDC Coils are Bottom Dual Coil.

This is for FIVE coils in a blister pack, these do NOT fit the Nautilus Tank

NEVER MIND I SEE NOW WHERE THESE ARE ADVERTISED TO FIT THE NOVA.

I am guessing that when you used the Nautilus coil it was in a Nautilus tank and then got the other BVC coils for you Nova. When I first read your post I thought you were somehow using the Nautilus coil in another type of tank.

No worries! That's exactly why I ended up with this tank...wasn't sure on the difference in the first place lol.

Rebuilding gives me a lot more options. After I had my clearomizers running good, I got an RTA for the express purpose of practicing and testing some basic builds. They were noticeably better for taste.

I have a good feeling they are, and I have the eleaf lemo next on my list. I just dropped $50 on 1000ml of 100mg/ml...so I need to wait a few paychecks lol. Thanks!
