I honestly don't understand how people can run the Nautilus with such a low power. I had been running mine between 12-13 watts for my ADV, with very occasional gurgling that was always easy to fix. What I could not tolerate was juice being splattered into my mouth. I have been running the Mini on my iStick at 15 watts and there has been zero gurgles, juice splatter, or flooding. The 1.8 ohm coils are rated up to 6.0 volts, which equates to roughly 20 watts, so there's no need to limit things to as little as 7 watts.

Some people like a cooler vape and are satisfied with what they get at 7-9 watts. Just remember that the airflow needs to be open all the way. Too tight an airflow will cause it to draw too much juice onto the coils, faster than the coils are boiling it off. If it sits and starts leaking like you've described, I'm willing to bet you have a leak somewhere around one of your seals that is letting air into the tank.

Yes, I get what you're saying. I'm just saying that mine would gurgle and flood at such a low power setting.

"I'm willing to bet you have a leak somewhere around one of your seals that is letting air into the tank." - Sounds reasonable - so buy new seals?

Before you buy new seals, try this. Dismantle the glass from the steel parts. Clean everything, rinse copiously, but don't wipe it all dry with a towel (towels deposit fine fibers onto the seals). Rather, just shake off the excess water drops and let it all air dry for a moment or two. Upon reassembling, apply juice to your finger and rub it onto the top of the glass where it will meet the seal, and then screw that together. Rub a very slight bit of juice on the bottom seal of the new coil and then screw that into the base. Next, rub some juice on the large, bottom seal of the tank, fill the glass tank with juice, and then screw it all together. This procedure will eliminate most leaks between the glass and the seals, and also the coil and the base. You may also choose to rub a bit of juice on the top-most portion of coil's chimney, just above the threads, too.

Oh, one other thing. With the glass removed, carefully inspect the threaded portion of the glass for any line-cracks--those will cause leaking, for sure.

In all honesty I didn't check the packaging - but I am fairly sure they are legit - Ive looked at all the packaging and photos on the aspire site - and they match what I got - also I cant find any mention on the www of people complaining of fakes from where I get mine.

There is no way to tell if it is authentic by looking, the only way to be certain is by entering the security code into the area provided on aspire's site. Occasionally even reputable vendors get duped by their or an unscrupulous supplier, my first 3 nautiluses were purchased from a highly recommended reputable & well known vendor.
I had all sorts of problems with them & ended up hated them and became an outspoken critic.
A few weeks later I bought real / authentic ones from a local B&M and every thing changed.
IMO, there as many fake replacement heads floating around for sale as there are real ones.

I too wonder how those that vape them at low power don't have consistent problems.
Mine give a cold sputtery wet vape at 10w and under, cool wet vape at 10 - 12w, warm rich vape 12.5w - 14.5w, most times I prefer 15 - 16.5w.
I have no problems taking multiple vapes at 18w and a few at 20w.

I've had exactly the same experience with these same power ranges, though I have not gone beyond 18w.

First of all, please make an effort to understand my english.
Every clearo/tank produces a vacuum effect that avoids the liquid from running free..
If, in some part of your tank there is a leak, then the liquid will flood the atomiser. One easy way to check this is leaving the tank by the night and in the morning it is flood( with no use). If so, there is a leak somewhere.. Find it. There is many obvious causes for leaks. One not so obvious that I've read about is inserting the tank silicone rings in a wrong way ( upsidedown).
Some coils in fact doesn't workout well, but not so many (one out of 10 maybe). Im sure its something in the tank. Check out those silicone O-rings or whatever they are called. try find some pictures of the correct way to put them
Good luck :)

I saw this thread and it was describing just what my Nautilus was doing. However, mine only started last night. I went to my favorite B&M and they replaced my coil to a verticle vice horizonal coil and it appeared to correct the problem. When I got home it started gurgling and leaking. I was not happy. I cleaned it again looking for any tiny fibers. I reassembled it and sat it aside. I checked it again after a while, maybe 30 minutes, and sure enough it was leaking. I got online and checked this forum. After reading Portela's post I again disassembled the tank and found a spare clear tank. I was checking gaskets and oops! Last night when I cleaned my tank and changed the coil the top gasket was stuck to the glass tank. After cleaning it I installed it upside down. Portela, your English was wonderful and I unstood it just fine. Thanks for assisting me in fixing my leak. I don't mean to hijack the thread, however, check your top gasket and make sure it is in properly. Tomorrow I will be returning to the B&M and letting them know what my problem was and that it is now corrected.
