Is it wise or unwise to block the air holes where the batt meets the carto?

Just curious about this. I got my 1st eGo in the mail today. I have a 900mah, batt and I am using cartomizers rather then atomizers and cartridges, just want to keep it simple. Absolutely love it!! I read a tip somewhere that you can get a much tighter draw if you cut a band from the rubber tips that come on the end of the carto and slip it down over the air holes. I am wondering if this will shorten the life of or damage the batt or the carto.

I am new to vaping, and I am already tired of the perpetual battery charging, so I upgraded to the eGo. I haven't had an analog nor the desire to for 8 days.

You can trap the slots and it wont hurt anything, I use the Giantomizers sometimes and just run a piece of black electrical tape around those slots and it works great for the Giantomizer. It all depends on what carto's your running though, I find running a good Iken carto or a Boge that I like it with just the cone on or only one slot covered not both and even none of them covered sometimes, it's all up to the user and your preference that's all, try the black elec tape it works well
