I replied to a thread about these batts a day or two ago... It prompted me to mess with mine some more. My sister gave it to me the other day because she couldn't charge it.

Anyway, I started putting it through its paces to check it out. Well, I'm glad I got it and will probably buy one or two more to have around. First of all, it's nice looking. The one I got is platinum body with brass/faux-gold at the base and top (button ring on up). The megas and tanks fit it perfectly, but the extra-long 510 threads on the inside can be a minor issue with short thread connectors like the ones CE2s have. Other than that and the fact the center post has to be raised to work with an eGo charger are the only negatives I can find.

And this battery stayed at 4.0v for hours before dropping to 3.8. It stayed right around 3.8 for a while and then began to decline to 3.6. - So now I'm certain it's an unregulated battery which I often prefer. And this one has nice behavior in how long it stays 3.8v and above. It was most of the charge and it dropped off and died rather quickly after falling below 3.8v. I wish all 3.7 batts were this good at that.

I'm finding no extraordinary heat around the batteries electronics that I can't attribute to heat that came from the atty or carto. It even provides the best 3.7v vape I've had with the dual coils. In fact, it performs as well if not better than my short rough stack with one of the blue 18350s in it.

These are great batts. 100% worth the minor hassle of lifting the center post a little bit.

I have a stainless steel cone and a stainless tube Dual Coil, and a nickle plated drip tip on it right now, and it looks good and works exceptionally well. I'm going to have to find a cone this color and maybe a gold colored drip tip. Then, it will be good looking enough to take out with me in social situations.

Did I mention how good this battery produces with the dual coils? Gee wiz. It certainly isn't 5 to 6 volts, but it's much nicer than any other 3.7 PV I've had it on. I think it's for two reasons. First, the cone allows you to tune the airflow a little bit. I cranked it on and am restricting the air a somewhat. That forces a slower draw. The other thing is that the cone appears to insulate a portion of the carto and help keep the heat in.

This is a great battery for the DC. I don't know if they'll shorten the life of the battery in any way or even possibly blow the switch, but if it turns out to be durable with the DCs, I'll be buying a few of madvapes eGo batts for the collection for sure.

This is a really nice battery.
