So, I recently discovered that malic acid can be added to juices to give them a tart/sour type taste. This is really exciting for me since I love this type of flavor and I had been thinking it would be a great addition to some of the fruit flavors I have.
However, I have seen a few references to malic acid cracking plastic tubing. Is there anyone here that uses juice containing malic acid in the Visions? I really want to try this out, but I don't want to ruin any of my few remaining Visions before they restock.
I'm thinking about dropping by Hobby Lobby and looking for some LorAnn's Tart and Sour to add to my existing juices, to be specific. Any help would be much appreciated.
