Is my battery about to fail? (pic included)

Hi there,
I did a quick search and could find exactly the same thing that is happening to my LG HE2. My batter is getting darker at the bottom and looks as if there is something leaking and getting soaked up into the casing, kinda like paper sucking up water. Other people asking about the dark spots, theirs are just spots all over the battery so I didn't know if this is there heat wrap around the battery or if something is leaking. I am still kinda new to rebuilding and don't want to lose any fingers or my face . Thank you for your time and help

Throw that thing away. Responsibly in the correct place of course. Never chance it with batteries.

Thanks for the reply Rwb. I'll go ahead and take the steps I need to to safely dispose of it. Rather lose a battery and not my face or worse.
