Is my battery dead

I have a battery that the charger says if charged but does not light up at all. Tried rubbing alcohol on paper towel overnight. Is it gone?

Sounds like a dud battery. Was it working fine before or was it like that when you first received it? Contact the supplier if it is dead on arrival.

It was working before. I either bought it on 2/5 or 2/24 not sure which date. Do they die that soon often?

Depends. Did you let any liquid leak into it? Generally, batteries should last longer than that.

I don't know. It has been dead for about a wk. Is there anything I can try?

I agree, batteries should last way longer then that but if liquid leaked into it is is a goner.

Oh well, I guess chalk it up to a learning experience w/these new fangled things. Love em though!
