Is there a code to the amount of flashes the led makes on a battery? I also have one that makes a steady dim light sometimes (its not heating the cartomizer while it is doing this). I am using the KR8.
The instructions on my 801 did have a code.
Special Notice:
1. To avoid over frequent usage of the product, once smoke it for sixteen times within one minute, the indicator light will continuously flash 10 times(about four seconds) for reminding.
2. If every time the user inhales more than five seconds, the light will continuously flash 10 times (about four seconds) tips do not affect normal use.
3. When the indicator light is continuously flash for 30 times (about nine seconds), it indicated the need to replace the battery.
Somewhere there's also a note that after the 10-flash one, it won't work for a few seconds, but I can't find that.
I don't know the answer to your questions. But, yesterday, one of my manual KR808 batteries stayed on (the LED did) while I wasn't pressing the button. I clicked it as soon as I noticed the light and it went out. I don't know whether or not the atomizer was also on.
chooky said:Another DUMB question.....For instance....the other day I was out and vaped...came home 6 hrs later and my EC still maintained a charge but I recharged the battery ....Can you overcharge a battery? I hope someone understands what I am trying to convey!
^so just to make sure I understand: dont worry about overchargeing the batts (the charger has a built in function to prevent it + the batt itself wont be damaged by over charging) BUT letting the batt run all the way out is bad for it?
I run my batts out all the time, it doesn't seem to affect them negatively in any way.
Yup... throw em on the charger whenever you want. When the light turns green you're good to go. Some vendors say charge for a minimum of 4 hours, but at that point they're just getting a trickle charge.
