Ya, depleting a (n e-cig) battery down to 3 volts is pretty low, but not a low enough level to put it in the 'not safe enough to recharge' zone. There is a line to be drawn though and I think, think, it's 2.something volts. I know there are others here, most notably Mooch, who know about this for sure.

IIRC a li-ion cell can be safely discharged to 2.5v.

Please, tell me if I am mistaken, so I can correct the above.

Personally, I would never go below 3v on a mech mod because that's just cutting it too close for comfort.

Samsung 30T spec sheet attached for reference.

Oh sweet pdf says 2.5 so i shouls be good ,i hope it will still work as good as before tho thats important too @ShowMeTwice
@somdcomputerguy Yea thanks dude as long as it still work as good and no performance is lost, i checked the pdf it did say cutoff is 2.5 so im prob fine

In a mech the battery will not cutoff at 2.5v. There are no protections when using a mech. You are the only protection!!!

The 2.5v cutoff mentioned in the PDF is for the engineers who design the battery packs used in power tools, lawn gear etc.
2.5v cutoff is what Samsung, and other li-ion manufacturers state, under use with those kinds of products.

Also certain a hit around 2.6v, 2.8v or even 2.9v would be very very weak on a mech.
