Whenever I connect my inferno pass-through to the charger, within 5 minutes, it gets hot... Is it finally time to bury it? I won't be able to order my replacement (VV Gripper) until Friday, and probably won't get it until Tuesday. Is the battery finally ready to retire, or is an increase in temperature normal for old batteries?

Seems like every time I start making progress, something happens to put me back to square one. First I ran out of juice, got more juice. Last tube tank carto became gunked up, got my vivi nova. And NOW this... It is literally something new every week...

Get a Provari.

If your battery is getting hot I wouldn't use it. It also sounds like you need to have more back ups. If having one carto tank getting gunked up is a big deal you don't have enough stuff on hand. Until you have enough stuff on hand you will always be buying stuff. I generally try to keep 30+ cartos on hand (plus a few tanks), multiple VNs + heads + rebuilding supplies, lots of liquid, plenty of spare batteries, etc...

Back ups for you back ups for your back ups.

Nope, no current backups... The reason I am lacking backups is because I have came in and out of vaping over the last few years, and until this attempt which shows great promise, I've never bothered stocking up since I figured I would stop again, as far as stocking up, my budget only allows so much a week, and last week I had gotten the batteries and charger for my VV gripper which I am getting this friday, the vivi nova kit, and a few spare heads and tubes to last until I learn to rebuild my own. Guess I am back to cigarettes until tuesday :(

Rather not wake up to my inferno causing an inferno in my apartment...

As for getting a provari... The gf said she would get me one if I do well with the gripper and VN, by valentines day :p

That's love right there I don't think my husband would buy me one ever. I picked up a logic rechargeable at the smoke shop for twenty bucks a couple weeks ago. It makes. Good back up came with 2 cartomizers. Smokes are about $8 a pack here so it ended up being an ok deal. I keep hearing cigarettes are cheaper in the south. Sorry about your inferno :(

lol, I had to show her the exact math... If I am fully off cigarettes, that's almost 3 thousand dollars a year saved. (A pack and a half a day = $5+$2.50=~$7.50*365=$2,737.50 a year for cigarettes) I won't use $3k in juices and parts... In Virginia they are 30 bucks a carton, and here in Texas they are about 5 bucks a pack. Maybe you can show your hubby the math :p
