I recently ordered a Mini Protank II on ebay. It arrived yesterday. It isn't in the big fancy box, but instead a little box just big enough to put the assembled glassomizer into. This doesn't concern me. A quick Google search shows that the box is perfect with the exception of one thing - no scratch off authenticity code. I opened the box and the glassomizer is assembled in a sealed plastic bag. It looks perfect. Same size, color, etching, etc.... I have not opened the plastic yet, just in case I decide to send it back. I have emailed the seller, questioning why the boxes in the pics on ebay had the authenticity codes, but the one I received does not.

I paid $6.95 for it. It almost isn't worth it to pay shipping to send it back.

Every single one of Kanger's products should come with that scratch off authenticity code. If it didn't it's either been repackaged for some reason, or it's fake.

See what the seller says, if they are a good seller, they'll make it right for you. If not, and you care, file a dispute with Ebay. It's an e-cig item and strictly it's against their TOS, so you might have more leverage with the seller too.

Ultimately, you paid $6.95, but for me it's the principle behind it. Don't pull the old switch and bait on me, I'd fight to the end to get the seller to make it right.

I have kanger coils here bought recently that have no code on the box. The code was on the packaging that contained all the boxes of coils... I was shown that by the retailer who I trust. Same "could" have happened in this case...so go carefully and find out. Kanger wasn't that gung ho about scratch off codes when that little tank was first produced so maybe it's before the scratch off code policy.

Dunno... devil's advocate. It's my own thinking that I lose all rights to complain about quality if I shop for the lowest possible price some place like ebay.
