Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum and to vapping infact I ordered my Janty Dura C and have not used it yet. It has about charging the battery the first time, 8 hours use it for 20 min then charge another hour even if light is green.

But it also has to put it together and it's ready to use, I put the battery on the charger it was red a short time. Then turned green and is staying green, I'm not sure as I read some battery's come charged. And my manual is not all that clear about it, I guess I'm worried with the green light on if it will hurt the battery, by over charging it or not because the manaul is not so clear about it

I have noticed that sometimes with new batteries too... but I have always left my 510s on for the 8 hours (and it WILL be green before that time is up) on the initial charge since that is what the manufacturer recommends. Because it is a Li-ion battery it should not matter or require an initial 8 hour charge, but leaving it on will not hurt it the first time so it's up to who you want to believe. batteries are an endless debate...
