ever since i started vaping and quit analogs, i feel that my sense of smell (as well as taste and overall breathing) have improved a lot!

for example, i can definitely smell my boyfriend's analog smoke from across our condo even when he's outside. i vape in our home, and i find that i can't smell it at all. i mean for my stronger flavored juices like Clove, there is a bit of a lingering scent, but it's not very strong. he can however smell my vape and tell me what flavor i'm using. even if he's in the living room, and i'm in our office with the door closed, he can still smell it.

now i'm thinking that maybe my sense of smell isn't really that much better. can anyone else smell their own vape or is it just me?

I'd guess you just get accustomed to the smell, and then don't notice. Just like a smoker gets use to smelling like smoke and doesn't realize that they stink, er..... uhh.... smell like smoke! I've only used tobacco flavors, but I can smell them on occasion, but not all the time.

I agree, when I smoked I could not smell the tobacco on me and now that I vape, I don't smell the aroma of the juice that I am vaping but when I am using a stronger one other people can.

I have found out that for myself I have to mix vg and pg just right to get a hint of flavor and smell. If the ejuice is all pg I mix a little vg with the flavors and depending on the flavors.I found pg has more flavor and smell on certain flavors and vg on other flavors..

But this is my own mix, people may have different mixes,I just mix for me but to someone else trying my mix dont taste the difference..And also I do now smell reg cigs on peoples that do do smoke...Eyes are watering and a runny nose....
