Is PG liquid suppose to be sweet?

I got some PG liquid in the mail today and I put a drop on my finger to taste it. Is it suppose to be a little sweet?

It is sometimes used as a sweetner in foods and it tastes sweeter than it vapes although there is an underlying sweetness - some flavors neutralize that though - same with VG.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I guess im just a little paranoid about buying liquids over the net in unlabeled and unsealed bottles. I tried finding some PG liquid at local stores, but didn't have any luck. I went to Tractor supply Co. and they use to carry it, but discontinued it. He showed me where it had been marked down in the computer to $1.40 for a gallon. Anyone have any other ideas of where to get PG at B&M stores?

Over the last couple of months i have gotten a lot of different juices on myself and every one of them no matter if it was a goofy fruit or candy flavor or a traditional tobacco flavor is sweet.
It's the pg or vg base, even if they are not sweet on the vape they are sweet to the taste in the liquid form.

I have read on here in a few places that VG is a little sweeter.
