No. Ego is a 510-threaded battery, not a 510 battery. It should use its own charger if you want it to charge in a reasonable amount of time. And its fat metal collar will prevent it from fitting in many 510 charging cables. In addition SOME 510 chargers can kill it (FS 510 and 510-T chargers for sure). So buy its own charger cable and label it and only use the Ego charging cable for Ego (an Ego charging cable can damage slim 510 batteries)

And you can use any of your 510's atomizers and carts (or cartomizers which is what most people use) on Ego. However the Ego can also use LR (low resistance hotter) atomizers and cartomizers but those are for Ego only and can damage slim batteries.

And NOTE - the Ego charging cable needs about 4.2V 420mA of power so you cannot use it on any AC to USB that provides less than that. You can use it on an standard AC to USB that puts out 5v and at least 420mA or on a computer's motherboard USB slot (5v 500mA).

And another note - the Ego battery won't make anything hotter - it just have more charge than slim 510. if you want more heat too consider a Riva 510 SE battery from Liberty-Flights.com (or any of the Riva 510 kits there) - their kits and SE batteries are 3.7v and will vape your 510's stuff hotter than the slim 510 does. Press the 20% off upper left front page before shopping on that site so you are looking at the lowered prices. We know all fo the kits are new stock 3.7v, the Riva SE has always been 3.7v, but their non-SE loose battery stock may or may not be.

I am very impressed with the foxy box mods. I have two of the 3.7's and run 1.5 mega carto's on them. That is my sweet spot and just love them. Well built, low price, small in size and customer service is over and above.

Check out his thread and read what others have to say. I also purchased his 5v, but don't use it much anymore. The 3.7's with a 1.5 ohm carto kick almost as hard. Carry two of the 3.7's in my shirt pocket with two different flavors of juice. Very nice!

Please take the time to sign this petition. We are asking the White House to consider e-cigs as an "effective alternate" to smoking. If we can muster 5,000 signatures the White House will give us an official reply and last I looked we still need a little over 500 signatures. Please register, sign and tell your friends. The deadline is the 27th of this month.

510, for discussion purposes refers to the threading on the batt...there are lots of 510 threaded batts and gear out there...the KGO is one of the better 510 threaded proprietary batts out there..the Riva is another...Darwins and Provaris are also(or can be had as) 510 threaded devices...in fact most of your higher end mods can be had as 510 threaded devices...so, a better question is...do you want a proprietary 510 batt or a higher end 510 device with drop in non-proprietary batts....

I'm looking to add another battery that will work with my 510 Mega carts and charger. If not, can someone recommend some higher end 510 models, that will be interchangable with my gear?

Like Madjack said, MOST mods are 510 threaded. If your speaking about high end mods than here's a list of the BEST:

Provari
Darwin
Buzz Pro
REO's
GLV
Silver Bullet
GGTS

...the Riva is just a battery...the"heat" is determined by what you connect to that batt and what it's ohm rating is...the diff between what your using now will depend on EXACTLY what you were using before...which is something you have never told us...I'm sorry, but you have not given us enough info to give you accurate info back........

Right now I'm using 2.2-2.4 Ohm Cartomizers with a 280mAh battery

Forgive my ignorance, but how much will I notice the extra heat of Riva?

I've never tried a Riva, and I have never put a meter on an eGo. So this is all 'seat of the pants' info.

An eGo battery is nominally 3.7v, but the flavor, hit, and vapor are more accurately reproduced at 3.3v

Moving the carto to another device and vaping it at 3.7v (under load) will give you a noticeable increase in performance. Please note, "noticeable". Not "mind blowing". You will get better vapor production, increased throat hit, and the flavors will pop a bit more.

The numbers can be deceiving. I know that 0.4v seems like an insignificant change, but the numbers are small to begin with. It's about an 8-9% increase in power. Sometimes it's enough to make a so-so juice come alive.
