I've been vaping for 3 months now and I've been using a basic mini ecig. I am thinking of getting a different e-cig and I want to know if the Ego T is a good one to get? Is it difficult to fill the tank? I've been refilling my carts on my current ecig, is it similiar to that? Also does it have good vapor and does it have a long battery life? Sorry for so many questions but I really want to make the right choice. Thanks!!

You'll see a lot of opinions. Get what YOU want. Now for my $0.02:) Seen a lot of leaking complaints on this forum for the ego and other tanks. Some love them. Ego has a 510 connection ecig that opens your options to trying different cartos and atomizers. You can save some $ shopping around and getting a clone. the higher the mAh, the better battery life. Think the new ones are up to 1300 mAh.

I moved up to the eGo and kept using my 510 stuff - same threading. I've read many users stumble with the tanks, in terms of leaking and less flavor, so I've waited to see what comes up next in this fast moving technology. The eGo battery is the same in all cases, so you can always move to a tank, eGo or otherwise, at any time. The only things you need for the first step is a couple batteries and the eGo charger, if you're using a 510 device.

The eGo advantages are both battery life and the ability to support more devices, like the new dual coil cartos everybody's raving about. An eGo battery opens the door to all the clearomizers, tanks and low resistance stuff!

I'm still keeping it simple and watching what develops. I'm using an eGo with regular cartos, low resistance cartos and dripping into an atty and it's satisfying for now. If I keep reading ECF I'm afraid I'm going to want to try out all the cool stuff!

My first more advanced type of e-cig, other than the basic mini type like you been using was the ego-t. I found that the tanks hold about a ml of juice. They can be more maintenance to fill by pulling the tank and popping the cap like I was doing. I also noticed the leaking problem which eventually drove me away from the ego tank system. However, I've found the regular ego with the standard 510 atomizer and cartridge to work very well, mainly for trying out different juices. You can get a drip tip for them which makes trying different flavored juices easy.

I went from an ego-t to the Echo, with the automatic battery in both the 650 and 1300 mah version. These have proven to not leak at all while in my pocket or pretty much anywhere. I use the Echo's while out and about or on the mountain, the Ego's are used here and there mainly for dripping, ...etc.

Ego's or clones pf the ego are a nice step up from where your at . as one of the above threads stated , maybe just go with the ego , that uses atty's and Carto's , and later on , you can try a tank , if you run across a good deal on one . I started with an Ego tank , but soon went to just using Cartomizers and dripping. And for what it's worth . Don't try dripping , with an automatic battery . If whatever your using , leaks , it can get into the battery and short it out . Stick with the manual types (switch) with a closed battery connection . Anyway , that's my .02 worth .

My experience with the ego-Tanks has been hit and miss. It seems that when the tank gets less than half full, the liquid tends to leak and get into the mouth piece. I gurgles and I can taste the liquid. I've tried the clear-o-mizers and found that they are a lot of trouble. I appreciate the size of the batteries and the 510 compatibility but I'm very disappointed with the tank set up. If you draw slowly and carefully the tank is fine. My favorite is the cisco LR atty and a delrin drip tip. I'm going to give a try to the 510T in hopes that I won't have to drip while driving. I always go back to my eGo batts. I'm pretty a pretty heavy vaper and the LR atty needs a strong power source. Even still, one eGo batt keeps me going all day long. All I carry is one battery with a drip tip on my cisco510LR atty and my favorite juice. Hope this helps. Happy Vaping!

I have to agree with the other posters about tanks having too many problems. I was really happy with them compared to the standard cartridge + atomizer, and if it was just between those two, I'd still be using a tank. Atty + cartridge is too much PITA for me. I don't want to have to be constantly messing around with refilling. After getting some of the mega dual coil cartomizers I pretty much stopped using the tanks. They're much more reliable, and they hold a good amount of juice (less refilling). I'd recommend getting a basic ego (or Riva, which you can get a kit for $29 at liberty flights) and some cartomizers. You can always get a tank to try out on it later.

I have only had mine for a week or so, but I totally love it. I haven't had a less than perfect vape yet. I got the regular battery and the type B atty and tank. I read that set-up seems less prone to leaking. I have also been vaping with it slightly pointed down and storing it upright. No leaks yet but time will tell I guess. I'll never go back to the 510 which required too much futzing.

You could make a worse choice. I'm not that excited about the tanks, but I am excited about dual coil cartos. And you "can" use standard atomizers the Ego-T, so if the tank doesn't do it for you, you could always go with a carto or cartotank (madvapes).

I did pickup a Noego and made sure to get the tank adapter, but I have not bothered.

I say if the -T doesn't work for you, use atomizers or cartomizers, so it's a safe bet. The cost savings not having to replace slim batteries equals the cost of an Ego-T or other similar solutions. There are other options that use tanks. As for battery life, we're talking 650mAh min, 1100mAh max. The lowest one two batteries should without a doubt last all day. For me, 900 works pretty much all day.

I have been using an ego-t for a few months now, I did see a leaking problem a few times, but it was more not a leaking problem then just a cleaning problem, I have found if you clean the tank (rinse with water and let it sit) after a few days of use then you dont really have a problem. I think it was more a build up of juice in the atty that made it's way up into the air chambers on the side of the tank. The most leaking problem I have ever had is on a ego mega atty and cart. That thing leaks all over for me. Over all I like the ego-t and still use them pretty regular. I still keep my staple of 510 attys and drip tips for when I just want something else though. Over all in my opinion its a solid purchase. You cant really go wrong with the ego in general. I carry 2 egos with me at all times, they have been my regular vape since I have started.
