Is the Indulgence suitable for use on a saltwater fishing boat.

Heh, well if you ever make it up here let me know and I'll take you and any family out, its on a 29 foot aluminum pilothouse I can fit 6 pretty comfy.

Used to live in Florida 10 years ago - in Panama City.

I'm pretty sure the indulgence electroplated pot metal... probably not the best thing to have in your environment. I would say that an all stainless Mechanical mod is the way to go- like a Prodigy or icon. They both have switches that can be easily disassembled and cleaned without any tools. I bring my Prodigy V3 with me when I'm out on the water - I've dropped the damn thing in the fish cooler a few times. Only takes a couple minutes to clean up. I haven't noticed any corrosion either - then again, I'm pretty .... about keeping my mods clean.

Wow, you jumped right out of the frying pan into the freezer! I fish down here sometimes but all I catch are those ugly catfish!

You're in prime fishing territory, I'd love to spend a few weeks down there fishing. Actually, we went from Alaska, to Florida, to Iceland, to Utah, and then back to Alaska when I retired from active duty.
