is the kanger T3S any good?

i originally got my mom the evod, but sense it only has 2 skinny windows i got her a kanger T3S. what are your opinions on the T3S?

I have 12 and think they're a great plastic clearomizer, even better if you replace the flavor wicks with a cotton yarn one.

that was all I used for a while, just so you know though it also has 2 little windows. I have since changed over to the smoktech aro tank, almost same but is glass inside instead of plastic, so I don't have to worry about what juice I can put in it

Yeah, that poster no doubt had the MT3S - same tank with a metal sleeve that's got the slots mentioned.

The T3S is a wicked little unit - great flavour (mind your coil unit maintenance, though), no leaking, super vapor production. All in all, a very good choice. Well done.

The t3s and mt3s are my main "small" take to work tanks. They are the best ive tried, concerning flavor and vapor, but they seem to be a little inconsistant with airflow from one to the next. Im slowly changing over to the mt3s because I have broken a few t3s dropping them on a concrete floor. I found them to stand up to the aspire bdc performance wise, and being a single coil they are easier on battery life.

I like the T3s, but after cracking two of them with innocent sounding liquids I moved on to glass tanks.

When I started vaping again 2 months ago I purchased 4 T3S's. Broke one when it took a fall off the table while attached to an MVP 2.0 and one failed when the center tube came unglued. The other 2 are great and easy to see when filling up. As one of the above posters mentioned, the airflow can be a bit inconstant from one unit base to the next due to poor quality control when the air holes in the base were drilled. I solved this by using a tiny drill bit to open them up and remove the metal spurs blocking the holes.

You have to buy TS3 specific heads cause the protank heads don't fit quite right. The metal flange on the protank heads is a ioda wider than the TS3 head flange so the tank doesn't screw on completely. You will notice that where the tank and base meet and a gap where the stem cap and the tube inside the tank meet. The simple workaround but not a solution is to take a second stem cap and flip it upside down, so you have 2 stem caps or the baby oring that use to be under the stem cap on the old evods. Some of the older evods use to have a stem cap with a extra lip on the top and they will work also. But generally speaking I like and still like the TS3 tanks but being plastic I was always concerned bout what juice to or not to put in it but for performance the TS3 is a mighty fine unit.

I realize a lot of people don't like the T3S, but I've had very good results with it in the two months since I re-started vaping. I just bought two more online for about 7 bucks each. IMO, its the perfect diameter and has the same good draw as the EVOD, but carries enough juice to get me through most of my work day. Plus you can easily see your juice level. I keep hearing I can only use the T3S coils in the T3S, but the EVOD coils seem to work just fine for me. I like the EVODs, but they don't hold enough juice and its hard to see how full they are through the little slits.

for the money they are a really good tank. Decent all day capacity, easy to see juice level, and most importantly good flavor and good vapor production on the stock coils and wick.. im not a big fan of silica, so after the first full tank i replaced the stock silica wicks for organic cotton and the flavor and vapor production is a bit better... have yet the need to rebuild the actual coil since ive only gone through about 3 tanks so far while owning this tank... I do own the PT2, PT2 mini, PT3, and an evod, as well as the t3s. I used to favor the PT2 mini as my fav, and possibly still do, but the t3s is a close second based on performance only.. It def gets an extra point (or consideration) if price matters, as i can get two t3s for the price of one Mini...

The T3S is the only clearo that I use. I don't use any tank cracker juices, so the plastic tank doesn't bother me. The heads are easily cleaned and cheaply replaced when they do go bad. I have found that I usually get about two days of vaping with a head before they develop any "burnt" taste and need to be changed. I have heard a lot of complaints about leaking but I have never experienced it. I keep a supply of old fashioned pipe cleaners on hand and whenever I refill the tank, I run a pipe cleaner thru the center tube to clean out any liquid that has condensed inside the tube.

I have collected around 20 or so heads that I rotate when they begin to taste bad. The heads are so easy to clean by dropping them into "super hot" micro waved boiling water (not IN the micro-wave) for a few minutes and then do a "dry burn" after they air dry - they are good as new. It takes me about 10 minutes to clean and dry burn a batch of a dozen or so heads. In the year that I've been using the T3S, I think that I have only thrown 2 or 3 heads in the trash when they failed to dry burn after cleaning.

I don't like to have to put a lot of time into maintenance of my PV, so I find the T3S on top of an Ego battery the perfect way to go.
