Well after a week of putting the new Kanger T3S through the paces and some heavy vaping I can honestly say I am very impressed with its solid performance! The T3 definitely set the bar high so it would only make sense that the Kanger T3S would be the next best thing! The main differences would be that the dark black polycarbonate plastic has been replaced with a thinner clear plastic making it more similar to the Evod, another fine Kanger clearo. Second, the T3S now has a removable coil head making replacements smaller and less expensive than having to replace the entire base. If you would like a more detailed look check out this T3S article that goes into a lot more detail. I really like that they kept the numerical scale going in both directions so you can see how much you are filling while holding it upside down. I also like how the chrome bands around the top and bottom, the finer knurling on the base, and the clear plastic all compliment each other; pretty classy imo!

Gbojar - I agree 100% about the Kanger T3S - I just picked up my first one locally w/a 5 pack of replacement heads for under 13 bucks. I've been using the original T3 but didn't care for the fact that the coil replacement consisted of the entire base and cost a lot more than the T2 coils. I have been switching between the T2 and the original T3 for this reason. I am now a T3S fan on a full time basis.

I have several of the original T3 units and I can now convert them to T3S by buying the new bases.

I'm glad the T3S has met both of your all's needs! I won't say the name but I am vaping with a new dual coil version of an old well known top coil device and it won't go 3 minutes without a dry hit! I started using high VG so to be fair I switched over to a high PG and still getting dry hits. Never had that problem with T3 or any other kanger clearos. I can honestly say the T3S is imo the best performing bottom coil clearo of its kind out now if not both top and bottom. Something else I found surprising but a good thing is that the vapor is warm which is highly unusual in a bcc. Anyone else notice that?

Do the T3S heads avoid the leaking issues of the T3? I have a T3... but its kind of mothballed at the moment because it would whiz all over my battery once I got under 1.8/1.4ml... drove me nuts. I fiddled with the flavor wicks... adding an extra one, used replaced the flav wicks all together with cotton.. no matter.... tank got low... LEAK! Even with some crankcase oil-like 100% VG stuff I had it would dump like an old jag.

I picked up a coulpe of eVods and the only time they've leaked was when I put some WAY TOO thin juice that I mistakenly bought with too high a PG ratio (80/20). But with anything thicker, my battery lead is nice and dry.

I've been using a T3S for a little over a month and I can say I've not had any leakage, gurgling, or dry hits (unless I vape faster than it can wick, which is my fault) and I've vaped the tank practically dry. I will empty and rinse the tank out once a week and dry burn the coil every two weeks and the results have been a perfect vape every time.

I will say I use a 70/30 mix and only vape Menthol with no tobacco, so I don't use any sweet or thick juice.

With my 650mAh eGo batteries, which I only need to change out every 24 hours, this is a perfect setup for me.

LeoRex, since the base/head configuration is more like Evod in that the head is separate from the base the T3S shouldn't have the issues the T3 had with its singular base and head in one configuration.

Got some T3Ss on the way as well as some Mini T3. T3S bases are going on the Mini T3s so I get me a Mini T3S ^_^ I can't wait to try them out - the eVod just isn't doing it for me. Its way too much of an oversaturated flavor imo but I tried a T3 at a local shop and it seemed pretty great.

tatterz, that is awesome! I love the T3 Mini and prefer them over the full size so a T3S Mini would be perfect! Great idea.

Not sure I'm going to like these, or purchase any more. On a whim, purchased two T3s and some heads from Altsmoke. Got them in yesterday. Tried with the stock wick -- yuck. Not to mention gurgling. I'm used to cotton in my Vision V3s.

So, I thought it'd be a simple cotton swap. The atty head is pretty straightforward. Swapped cotton in, had some success. Though I vaped too soon and burnt the wick. Oh well, more practice. Then, upon reopening, I saw that the coil had turned about 90 degrees. The cotton got jammed. Ruined that head trying to fix. Then the next.

Argh.

Figured out that the coil rotates if I screw on the battery too tight.

So...went slow with my most recent head. Cotton swap. Easier twist on the batter. Seems to be working. Pulled open to examine, and, sure enough, the coil has rotated out of the way a little bit. Can't really seem to get it to line up easily...

My Vision V3s have their issues, but rewicking is simple, same heads have lasted months with numerous changes, coils are sturdy and don't move, flavor vastly better then T3. I dunno...I'm thinking my T3s(s) might end up in the junk pile.

I just got a T3S today at a B&M that seems very informed compared to my local B&M. Ive been using a KPTII w/evod short coil and a iClear30 on a MVP.

All i can say is WOW!!!!! Its an easy draw (not really airy) but vapor is huge and flavor is outstanding. Im trying some local made blueberry waffle 18mg from the same shop and it about floors me. TH is pretty xtrong but not too strong. You really know you got some vapor.

Great buy for $8 out the door from a B&M and they still had the short evod coils too 5/$10 or $3 each for my KPTII. :D

So do I!

I love my baby T3s.

That said, I never had any issues with the regular T3s, except for the slightly airy draw, so the only improvement I see with the T3S is the price of the coils.

I'm not loving these. I guess because I tend to fidget and twist the base more than I should, the coil unscrews a little and I get inconsistent draw/no draw. And minor point, but the black tips hide condensation and the clear ones don't. Anyway, I've got four of these things now and will be replacing the bases with the old style.
