Mostly I believe they are inner-changable, but not always. It's best to ask the owner and hope they don't lie to you. If the KR808 is made in the US you may have even more problems with it. This is only what I've gathered from what I've read from others on the ECF. My own experience - I tried some 808 carts from another company a friend uses, they fit but they didn't come close to V4L's quality. They were basically shot after one use. It's not just the threads you need to think about, the filler and atomizer makes the carto, and has been perfected by V4L IMHO.

I agree with Max. It's like asking if all refillable ball point pens have the same refills. Not all will fit..some will but not well and some are spot on. You take your chances.
I got a sale on some (other company) cartos early on when I first got my VK. I sent them back because they were dry..when I say dry I mean blank dry with the scent of what used to be in them. I was credited but assured they were "Fresh". I haven't bought cartos from anyone but V4L since.

i wasnt really talkin about cartomizers (as far as buyin from another vendor) though, i just meant the 2 piece design. i have about 50 V4L cartomizers which means ill be good for a few months of vaping if i refill with juice. i bought my kit from v4l so i think goin with their cartomizers makes sense anyway, the brandin matches at the very least.

so that means theres the 510, green cig, and are there any other two peice e-cigs? i just want to know about the 2 piece e cig design for information purposes cuz im curious and interested in it and i cant find any definitive info, without gettin confused.

so to rephrase, (buying aside and for historical purposes of the technology), are there any other non proprietary 2 piecce designs besides the kr8 and 510, because i didnt even know the 510 was a two piece, i thought it was three?

You should google 2 piece e-cigs. Many of the three piece designs now make adaptors to use it as a 2-piece. You can make almost any 3-piece a 2 piece now a days. It's kind of hard to answer the question. I just stick with the Vapor King - Gets too confusing out there for me. I have always been under the impression the kr808 was the first 2-piece, I could be wrong. Maybe it was the 801???? ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! See? Kwazy out there....

exactly, that what happened. i googled and went through all of these posts only to not really know and be confused in the end. and what u said is exactly what i kinda meant about adapters....it seems all of them now have adaptors for carts. i meant what product was meant to be used from the start as a 2 piece (without adapters) that can use other brands cartomizers (kr8 carts )?

for example. v4l is a kr8 and can use any kr8 carto essentially, and other generic kr8s can us v4l carts, so theres that universal interchangability. can a blu battery use a kr8 V4L carto for example? or is it blu's proprietary design and carts that use their own brand exclusively....im just tryin to see whats universal

like the 510, it is a universal two piece now with 510 carts...are there others besides the 510 and kr8, cuz greencig is proprietary

ahh who cares. it seems all the three piece models are beginning to make cartomizers thus making them two piece models. i already own a v4l kr8 so whatever. thanks for all the help, but now its just turning into an annoying, fruitless search that will probably end with the fact that in a very short amount of time, all three piece will be two piece or at least have cartomizers available u know
