Do you think there is an advantage to a mechanical mod over a wired one?

All mechanical is more reliable and more easily maintained. The GG is all mechanical though.. it's just feels like an erector set to me and it's never been the "smallest" for my 18650s contrary to repeated claims. You just reminded me again I need to post it to Classifieds here. -Magnus

Now look at that! we have 2 things in common. Precise and Omega.
Which go very nice together I might add.

Over the years I've been gifted "better" watches but I never keep them. I'm going on two decades with Omega and it just fits me the best. And yes, they go nicely together in all SS especially. -Magnus

I fell in love with the P18 for so many reason I won't even mention all of them but will mention that it just fits my needs/wants in a pv plus it's made in the good old USA/Minnesota and being a fellow Minnesotan I am more than honored to be an owner of such precise engineering and precise innovation.

I now have relaxed my anxiety over the waiting period for my P18 since I don't want David/others to rush on my order or any order period. This will be my first mod and what a wise decision indeed I made for once, lol. I will never bash other mods since I have no experience with any but will say I am the type who enjoys the thought of having a fully mechanical pv mod made out of stainless steel that will in the end trump non-fully mechanical pv mods.

I will be an owner of a fully functional work of art that I compare to the trustworthy, elegant and deadly Colt 1911 in the right hands of an operator.

The wired (electrical) ones seem to quit working sooner or later for various reasons, one being the wires get all gunked up with ejuice. There's really nothing that can 'break' on the mechanical mods.

The mechanical switch on the Precise line is super solid and simple. I have two Precises, the P10 and P16. I would have preferred if he had made a 14500 (or P14), but oh well. The Precise line is very solidly made compared to every other device I have ever seen. If you want better battery life out of a 10440, use Madvapes Ultrafire Protected 10440's but buy some extra ones because they don't always fit the narrow P10.
