When I do coils for MtL, I wrap them between .7 and 1.5.
It's hard to tell you what the best range inside of that is, because it depends a lot on the atomizer.
If the air restriction comes before the atomizer, you can wrap on the low end of the scale. If it comes after, you will want to stick to the higher end.

If that doesn't make sense, a good way to check is, Can you open the airflow up to where it is too airy for MtL? If so, try to go with coils on the higher end of the scale.

As far as wraps, in theory the more wraps= more surface area= more flavor, but honestly atomizer design determines flavor so much more than a couple extra wraps.

With gauge, I use 28 gauge mostly for MtL coils.

I mostly MTL. I build from as low as .6 up to 2ohms. The heaviest wire I currently use is 28. Right now running 3 atty's. Chalice3 @ 1.15ohm 2x31twisted kanthal, Hobo 3 @ .85ohm 3x32twisted Nichrome and 1.6ohm 32kanthal in Sat22.

Without knowing what you are powering the coil with Its hard tosuggest which wire to try.. for 1ohm, single strand build, I'd start with the 28, 5-6warps on 2mm or 2.5mm But If I had a regulated mod and could turn the wattage up or down, I might play with the 30.

This site will help, Coil wrapping
