Is the Riva really just a boot legged Ego? Rumor mill.

I began with a Ego and picked up a Riva.
I noticed an immediate difference in the amount of draw. The Riva was so much easier to draw on no matter what I used. (Atomizer or Cartomizer).
The 4 notches on the end of the Riva appear larger and allow more air flow compared to the Ego.
I am still using the same 2 750mAh that I started with last November and my Riva is in my hand pretty much all day.

Secondly. As I heard it, janty was hired by Joye. It's joye's idea and janty's hardware so to speak. Jaunty fabricates the Joye products. Anyway. Either way. I was hearing this about the newer Riva batteries. That they have bettery operating consistency.

You got that the wrong way round. Janty used Joye to manufacture - Joye is a manufacturer, whereas "Janty" is a brand that has its designs made for it. Mik at Janty came up with the eGo design, and Joye made it for them. Eastmall saw it, liked it, and, as tends to happen in the orient, copied it, but without the voltage regulation. All Janty (and TW 510 based stuff, which is identical to the Janty kit in all but branding) 510 based kit began life as voltage regulated 3.4 volt stuff, hence the standard Joye 510 atty being 2.3 Ohms, and therefore kicking like a mule on a freshly charged (and therefore 4.2 volts) battery.

Heh, you guys are on to something. My buddy was .....ing that his new ego-t didn't give as strong of a throat hit as my Riva-t or my 501-t's.

After vaping my new ego all morning, a moment ago I stuck the ego-t atty on my Riva battery and it's like night and day. Using the same tank and atty I get a stronger throat hit and more vapor production using the Riva battery. I prefer the Riva button as well.

*sigh*

Beginning to second guess the ego-t purchase, and beginning to wonder if I should have suggested it to my buddy.
