Hi,
I started vaping last Friday night. I am using a 510 with 26mg. I'm not sure how much nicotine I was getting, but I used 4 batteries for Saturday, and another 4 batteries for Sunday, and I felt fine. Yesterday and today were different though. It's as if the same liquid I have been using the past 4 days had a different reaction. It felt as if it had gotten stronger? I would feel the effects much stronger with a lot less vaping. I did not even go through one battery yesterday or today. It seems the 26mg has become too strong for me. I'm not sure how this happened.

Based on the first three days of vaping, I figured that 26 mg was good for me, so I ordered 5 bottles of flavored liquid all 26mg. It's on the way. Now I think it might be too strong.

I will be going out to get some vg or pg to dilute my liquid, but I'm just wondering if there's a specific brand to get. I know I'm supposed to buy USP grade, but other than that, are they all the same?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,

I got my VG @ walmart. Bottle says "GLYCERIN", "USP" and scarily enough, "SKIN PROTECTANT". It's made by HUMCO and cost me $2.98 for 6ozs.

Good luck and hang in there. Takes a while to figure the whole nic level thing out. I just realized after 2 weeks that 18mg is ok most of the day... but for those times when I really wanted an (yuck) analog, it's 36mg that does it for me. Now I have no desire whatsoever for an analog! YAY!

Hang tough and keep listening to your body. You'll get there.:)

Regards,

Not that I am an expert yet...but I too bought my VG at WalMart and noted it says for skin but it has the Glycerin USP on it. I haven't had any trouble. I had to thin it and used vodka until it was the same consistency as the TW brand. TW brand comes ready to vape - DI water thinned to the right consistency. I have been mixing my own VG and adding it to ejuice - been counting drops that leak out to try and get it right and haven't had a problem. There is a huge thread somewhere on VG where a pharm made some comments - you should read it so try a search for glycerin. As I recall, just make sure it says USP and Glycerin = need both.

I started with 26 mg and then went way down the longer I vaped. I was feeling edgy after a few days on the stronger mg. I like vaping so much but didn't want to increase my addiction to nicotine anyhow. It has been frustrating to get the equip and learn so much but so worth it to not have any analogues now for almost a month. Feeling great.
