Is there an Ego thread?

I am seriously wanting to buy an Ego like pronto, but I wanted to find out a bit more on them and was wondering if there was a thread just for Egos and so forth. If not I have a few questions.
Cone is it optional or a must have?
Where can I find a usb passthrough for it if there is even such a thing.
I found the cheapest kit at Ivape.net. It's a DSE Ego, good or bad? Is it a knock off or just a similar built model?
Can genuine ego parts work with the DSE?
And where can I get a LR 510 atty for a good price?

Sorry for the spam questions but I really want to make sure to cover all my bases before I buy this.

Also wanted to ask about the RIVA and how it compares against the Ego??

OK I got trigger happy and ordered a riva with two EM LR attys lol I just couldn't beat the 63.11 total price tag.

there is a 510 model thread here, and i believe the EGO is a 510 or at least the atomizer is. and a fine model too. people here rave about them. i unfortunately don't own one. but i hope i got you pointed in the right direction

The cone is optional but does tighten the draw and warm up the vapor a little, since it'll draw air from the narrow end of the cone instead of where the atty and batt connect.

The eGo is basically a big battery 510 (it has 510 threading) so any 510 passthrough will work with the atomizers you get

DSE looks like a clone, but I don't have any experience with 'em so I can't say as to quality. I've had batteries from Totally Wicked (they call it the Tornado, but same thing) and from Joye (through LiteCigusa) that have a nice hefty feel and the parts inside don't shift around like with some cheap copies I once bought.

Genuine parts would work fine, it looks like all the DSE parts fit the standards.

I got an LR 510 atty from LiteCigusa that worked very well, there may well be better priced ones from other vendors but their Premium atty was great (and free shipping over $15).

Sorry, I don't use too many different vendors. Once I find one I like I kinda stick with 'em.

Thanks so much for the help! I have like 10 tabs open right now and I found a really great sale for the Riva on Vaporjunction with their riva kit and 2 LR attys for 63.11 which is just awesome! I think I'm going to go for this one. :3 Riva's are the same basically has Egos though? Just bigger battery?

That DSE ego looks a lot like a Riva to me, except it says the batteries are 650mah, which is what the eGos are. The Riva has 750mah batts. The kit is $20 less than most eGo kits which most have 2 cones inc. The gold box looks like a Riva I've seen at other suppliers' sites.

Anyway, looks like a good price and for $3 more you can get another cone.

edit: OH yeah, get the LR attys. You'll love 'em!!

Yup, depending on your tastes you might like the look a little better but the threads are for 510 atomizers and cartomizers And, as t9c pointed out - the 100mAh increase over regular eGo batteries is nice! Of course, I have 900mAh Joye eGo batteries...

I've got an eGo and love it, Janty sells a USB Battery that I just got. Little longer than their standard battery, with a screw off bottom that reveals the USB connection, vape and charge at the same time.

Cone is optional, I use it most of the time, but loosen or remove it depending on mood.

I recently got the eGo XL atty, holds a ton (the say up to 2.5ml) of liquid, and more vape.

Standard eGo battery lasts me a whole day of continuous usage, and about a half day more.

whoa, what's with the "Warning: Adults Only" screen at VaporJunction, I thought I mistakenly went to an adult entertainment site..

I have the eGo, got it in a kit that contained 2 complete ones for like $74.. could've prolly saved $$ if I shopped around more, but at that point I was more concerned with picking a model

I dont get it, the Riva looks just like the eGo, is it just another name for it like Wicked Tornado?

The riva if i understand right has a slightly bigger battery and puts out 900mah. But looks just like an ego.

From what I know right now the riva is 750 mAh. Regular ego 650 mAh with a 900 and 1000 mAh battery avail.

The button is different. riva is more rubberized feel and the ego is hard plastic.
