Is there an RBA/RDA sticky for dummies?

I want to get into rebuilding rda's and rba's eventually, not quite yet, but all these equations and different batteries and such are confusing. It's making me think of questions like, if I build an IGO W dual coil, will it work on my MVP? If not, what kind of battery/mod do I need to get, and what info do I need to take into account? Stupid noob stuff like that. I've read a few posts on ECR and watched a bunch of videos on Youtube but I still don't feel like I'm getting the full explanation I'm looking for, I guess. If not on ECF, is there a good tutorial and/or video for people like me? Thanks!

the mvp will fire anything above 1.2 or 1.3 ohms....
if u build a dual coil- all you need is kanthal awg wire or flat ribbon kanthal, and ekowool, silica, or cotton.....
then a mechanical mod- i suggest Nemesis....better to find a used mechanical than a new clone imho....
First take apart the pre-built heads and rebuild those....thats how i learned...
aw batteries are recommended.....
u need an ohm meter to know what your build ohms are....then it will either fire, or you add wraps to the coil for more ohms, take away for less ohms....
drippers can work on the mvp- remember dual coil= half resistance, so 2 - 1ohm coils= 0.5ohm total resistance

The MVP will work very well with any RBA, as long as you do not build super low ohm coils, which is not where anyone should be starting anyway. You don't have to worry about mods or batteries right now anyway.

You may find that many videos build attys with under the 1.2 ohm limit which are required for regulated mods, such as the MVP. You can just use a higher gauge wire or more wraps.

We all started from the same place as you did. One needs to work in slowly before going dual coils. Get proficient at single coil builds, get the supporting equipment as you go, then do the research on Mechs batteries and ohms law. Tis really pretty simple, as long as one takes it one step at a time. My firs rba was the Russian, which I used with the Provari. Since you have a device which will read the ohms of the build, first find the style of rba you want, then go from there. Each step requires decisions and learning, wire gauge wick material, preferred ohm's of build, and so on. But once you are there, trying something new becomes much easier and one quickly dials it in.

Good luck on your rba/rda journey. The ground work can be long, but the end results is well worth the time invested.

I suggest watching Youtube videos of people setting them up. I find it next to impossible to understand someone typing out instructions to make a coil, but watch a video, and 10 seconds later it will make perfect sense. While different atomizers have varying techniques, there's certain "staples" that carry from device to device
