Is there any information for your guys' cartos and clearos with regards to ohms?

I've had a spinner for quite a while now and have had the opportunity to play around with the voltage on several different cartos and clearos, tanks and other goodies, but now I'm starting to look for something with higher ohms so I can ramp the voltage up and not worry too much about that burnt taste. Do you guys have ready information about your products, and do you sell anything that is higher than the typical 1.5 ohm?

Do you know what the Ωs are on the current " cartos and clearos, tanks and other goodies"?
Use a multimeter to determine the Ω what you are using now.
You might find that you are already using SR (2.2Ω+)devices.

Have fun

If a 2.8Ω carto tastes burnt at 4.8V...~8W, it is not wet enough or the carto has a problem. IMHO.

I'm thinking that maybe some of my cartos/clearos that are giving me a burnt taste are just running their last course. I'm going to try with a fresh clearo and see what the difference in taste is like.

SI doesn't sell anything under 2.4Ω that I'm aware of.

Their cartos are 2.6-2.8Ω, but they're tuned to work with Volt/X2 batts (3.6-3.7V), as is most of their other stuff (they try to make all their stuff work interchangeably). There's something different with Volt cartos that keeps them from following the regular rules. Maybe the horizontal coil thing? I tried them at first with nonregulated batts, and fresh off the charger at 4.2V, they tasted burnt.

I think I saw somewhere that SI T3 heads are 2.4Ω, but I seem to have better luck with them at 3.9-4.2V.

Not sure about the other stuff, but I'm guessing none of their stuff works well past 4.3V. Again, they try to make everything work well with each other, so their stuff is tuned to work nominally at 3.6-3.8V in general (except for the oddball T3, which does seem to follow the regular rules).

The Nanos started at SI (we even named it on this subforum). They came out with it first, then all of the sudden the Visions started appearing. If you like those, you should try the new mini-clearo too (T4). I hear they're even better.

I'm really starting to sound like a total fangirl with these, but HoosierVapes recommends the Vision VT with 2.8Ω heads on a Spinner at 4.8V. They're made for eGo/510, but will also work with SI Spinners (no adapter necessary) - just don't screw it on all the way.

couldn't say it better myself :)
