Is there any way around the "noob" forums?

So, I have been vaping for almost a year now. Never touched a cigarette since I got my Reo mini. Started off with it and liked it immediatly. (At least in my opinion) stepped up a little to the Provari now with a Phiniac tank which I just love. I know most of the stuff that's out there and how atomizers/cartos have to be treated, how they work, and why you shouldn't keep vaping a carto when you get that funny taste :D...
Short story: I wanted to open a thread asking if there are any tank setups that work with a 306 atty of my choice instead of a cartomizer without the hassle of this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-mods/281375-306-atty-tank-using-dcc-tank.html. I wasn't even able to open this thread in the general forums. Do I really have to "spam" the newbie forum to become a normal user? That kinda suxx. I'm not new to vaping, I'm just new to the forum :)

Best regards,
Dennis.

Sorry - the owner's of the forum have 'Da Rulez' to make the experience as pleasantly informative for the greatest number of people as possible.

You're not new to vaping - so jump in and post some responses with what you've learned over the last year with your Reo and your post count will soon clock up.

Well then HELP a few "noobs" out here and you won't be spamming this section. You will be helping new vapors.

In real life, you walk into a room at a party, take your time in a new setting/community, introduce yourself, get a feel for the conversation in progress, eat a few hors d'œuvres. Listen in and get a feel for the situation.

It would certainly be poor decorum to do otherwise, wouldn't it? ;) Why do people expect that any kind of social politeness would be suspended when entering an internet community for the first time?

I believe the classifieds involve getting verified (no different than introducing yourself and verifying your identity) and 20 posts. Thank goodness for that, IMHO, as that protects all of us.

FWIW, you're selling something, people are gonna do a 'search' on your posts......I'm not going to buy anything from someone who has absolutely no history here and hasn't even "spoken" to anyone.

No reason one can't post a question in the noobs forum.... everyone can learn something.
