Yknow, I think I stopped being out there a long time ago 
DH #1 was stuck in the 50s & 60s, Dh #2 is stuck on classic FM radio, preferably opera hour. I have missed huge chunks of the 1990s -present day of music. And now I just prefer those that are chanting; "Ohm...."

Meh! You can't be like that! There is so much GOOD music out there, you just have to sort through all the crap to find it! I go out of my way to find odd and obscure music! Pandora, Sirius, searching youtube, etc.! I love MTVU, it's priceless, I'll find music, download it and be bored with it before it even becomes mainstream and gets played to death!
If you haven't figured it out, I listen to about everything! I haven't been able to get into Classical as much as I would like, I can "feel" the music, but just don't get moved like I think I should, if that makes sense?
Love Jazz! HATE standards though, I just don't get it! I listen to some rap, but don't care for most of it. Oddly I got into NWA and Sir Mix-a-lot, but don't care for much of the newer stuff!
But I try to keep an open mind, I remember how bigoted people were with what I listened to and wouldn't even give it a chance! I like depth and lyrical content! I'll rattle off lyrics to some of the biggest fans of bands and they have no clue what I'm even saying! "You've played this song a thousand times and never even listened to it?"
There is a piece of music to fit every moment of your life, there is a song that can express what you are feeling at any given point and time! Yes, I am very passionate about music!
We've got to let love rule!
