I was just wondering and wanted to make sure, I have been vaping on a battery that I inserted the wrong way today. I noticed the vapor wasnt warm at all but thought it was just my carto dying out so I kept vaping. 1.7 ohm single coil on the AW 18650 battery that comes with the SB kit. I didn't notice it was the wrong way until the battery finally died and I took it out. the SB itself is working fine now with a new battery inserted the right way, but could I have damaged the previous battery? It's completely dead now, I tried inserting it the right way and vaping and no power to it.

Atomizers and cartos have no certain polarity. I have powered them with AC current. Not sure why your battery would be dead. It is not even plauseable that inserting the battery in upside down would cause your battery to go bad. What battery were you using?

well, i meant I used it until the battery ran out of juice. I was just wondering if using the battery in the wrong direction would cause damage to the battery or unit, I don't know much about batteries.

No, the SB is a simple circuit. Switch and load, no chance of damaging the unit. Charge the battery as your normally would :)
