I was having a look around and came across a tesiyi 18650. Here's an extract of what it's all about:

Finally! The first battery produced especially for mods - TESIYI T18650! Made by the professionals exclusively for the professional Vapers, this battery can be charged even 500 times! Safe, powerful and environmentally friendly TESIYI T18650 is made of harmless raw materials and with its 40A discharging current, it is 10 times better than normal 2600mAh batteries. TESIYI T18650 went through the CE, RoHS and FCC certifications. Manufactured under very strict quality controls, Tesiyi gives 1 year quality guarantee for their product.

Any reviews in this product? Is it a no go?

Samsung 25r won't do the magic? Lots of fake Vtc4 in my country and HB6 is very rare. But if the 25r can't do it I'll find a reputable dealer for a Vtc4

For the 0.2 ohms, the 25R is no problem. I only recommended the HG2 because it last longer before needing to be recharged.

For 0.1 ohms you are significantly exceeding the rating of the 25R. Yoy can do this if you aren't chain vaping and keep an eye on how hot the battery is getting. The VTC4 is a better choice if you can get it.

And below 0.1 ohm? I'll be exceeding the batteries capabilities if I use Vtc4?

And below 0.1 ohm is a no go with any battery right ?

You can go below 0.1ohms with an HB6, but why? Your battery voltage drops so low at low ohms that you're not getting nearly the power you think you are. Connection resistance is absolutely critical too and if you don't have a truly accurate ohmmeter then yoy could very, very easily draw significantly more current than you want to. This can harm the battery.

Lastly, if you have any mod malfunction at that low a coil resistance, you're essentially short-circuiting the battery and it can very easily vent or even go into thermal runaway.

I hear you on that point. I think I'll get a Vtc4 and stick to builds above 0.1ohm. Thank you for your help [emoji4]

    0.2 ohms = any good 20A battery, HG2 recommended
0.1 ohms = twice the current of 0.2 ohms! Use an HB6 or VTC4
Sorry, but could I kindly please just ask why you recommend HG2 and not 30q for 21 amp draws? Based on your tests I thought the HG2 only beat the 30q on up to 15 amps?

Secondly, I've read before a couple of times your advice beeing that around 20amps the 30q, and at 20 amps the 25r and over that, the vc4... Is the 25r advice because of a little better voltage initially, compared to the 30q?

I'm about to buy alot of new batts and have a really hard time deciding, as I only wanna buy one type, and like the OP also for mechs around 0.2... I have 8 30q's currently in my cart, based solely on you and your tests, but haven't pulled the tricker yet, as I wanna think a little more about it(but have allready 2 30q's on there way with a parallel box)... I just need to fully decide between the 30q, hg2 or 25r's, and untill I read your post, I actually only thought I needed to decide between the 30q and 25'r's :)

Thanks in advance and I hope the OP dosen't mind :)

I recommend the HG2 over the 30Q because of its increased availability. Their performance differs by a couple of watts in my tests but in my opinion the differences probably won't be seen in actual use. If you are running with 0.2 ohm coils in a mech you're in the zone between the sweet spots for those two batteries. I say go with the less expensive one of the two. :)

The 25R can have less of a voltage drop than the 30Q at higher amps and runs at a lower temperature.

If you're pulling 15A-20A, get the 30Q's or HG2's...pick the less expensive one. If you're always pulling more than 20A, get the 25R's.
