just go new. spend what you need to to get something that will make you happy and last for a long time rather than getting something that will just make you want something else. getting something "simpler" now is just a big waste of cash and time and an annoyance you don't need.

Trust me, I'm deeply regretting going that route instead of just getting something of quality right out of the gate. I did so because i got the wrong advice..

Everything I saw states be extremely careful of vape purchases off eBay. I believe that there is no protection if things head south.

Ebay purchases are very protected. Not only do you have Ebays buyer protection, you also have PP protection :)

eBay UK : Money Back Guarantee

Not saying that the OP should buy used but, I wanted to clear up the misinformation about Ebay not being safe to buy from.

Definitey. I sold on eBay for about 9 years. Not vaping related stuff (cuz it hadn't been invented back then!) but everything else.

With all the new rules on eBay, the buyer is more protected than the seller.

BUT always be cautious. READ the seller's feedback as a seller and go from there.

If in doubt about the seller, contact them, ask a question about the item. If they don't respond, forget them and move on. If the response isn't good or what you expected, again, move on.

If they respond and answer all of your questions in a timely/satisfactory matter, then consider it a "go".

The only way you could go wrong with a top of the line PV is if you find you don't like vaping. But, even in that case you can sell it.
Were I beginning vaping over today I go with a VV/VW mod (not necessarily Provari (money issue)) rather than the ego and heaven forbid the cig-a-likes.
Buyer Beware though on buying Used from EBay!
