The EVOD blister pack is NOT a throwaway..You replace the coils.. They have a link to them in the description.
The CE4 one IS I do believe. Of course, the batt is never a throwaway, just the tank.
No reason to over think this.. The blister pack is far and away better than those Blu's.. You will like them. As said, get 2-3 of them and you will have a 'starter kit' for less than 30 bucks that has 3 batts and tanks instead of one batt and 2 tanks. If you decide that you like vaping, you can still use your blister pack ones while you look around for something that better fits your needs. If you try to guess what those needs are now, you will most likely be disappointed and wasted money. These are GREAT to start on, and are cheap. Trust me
After using eGo type batteries (what comes in the kit) I have found that I dont really need any of the big mods and opted instead for a iTaste VV V3 just to get into variable wattage for cheap ($25).. Get the EVOD blister pack with Variable Voltage and dont look back Can the blister packs use the kanger t3 carts I don't think I really want anything that big or advanced just easy to use and good Vape. Should I just get a itaste right away?
Pretty pricey.. Once you see what size batt you need (in mah or 'Milli Amp Hours') then you can decide on your next kit/upgrade. These tanks will empty faster than the batt in the EVOD blister kit by about 2:1 even running at 4.1volts on a 2.2ohm coil (7.6watts). I have found that the best vape, for me, is around 8watts and this is a close as I can get with my current coils - 2.2ohm. So, if you get at least 2 of the bister packs, you will have 2 batts that will last you all day, and 2 tanks that will last you all day, for less than $20.. not to shabby.
Yes, they will use any eGo/EVOD tank.. they have both threads. A T3/T3s MT3/MT3s and EVOD/EVOD2/EVOD Glass all use the same EVOD threads.. the CE series uses 510 threads (smaller).. Just about any tank, or 'clearomizer', will fit.
If I had to say? Personally, if you have the cash to start, I would move right up to the iTaste VV V3.. BUT, I would still get at least one, if not two, of these blister packs. Never know when you would want a smaller battery. Or an extra one..

But, they are just bigger versions of the EVOD, so its a wash really.. A T3/MT3 or and EVOD? T3 hold 2x as much, but uses the same coil (make sure to get the 's' version T3's', the T3 is a throwaway)

How long does the Itaste battery last? I can get one battery for now or two blister packs, what would be more worth it?
The EVOD comes with the EVOD tank.. The battery is the same except an EVOD battery have a recessed button AND Variable Voltage. You click the button 3 times quickly to change it. 3.5v, 3.7v, 3.9v, 4.1v in secession. The EVOD blister pack is the best deal around.. Thats what I've been saying
For just ONE dollar more, you get a tank with a replaceable coil AND variable voltage I would get 2 EVOD VV Blister Packs and at least one set of replaceable coils @ 2.2ohms (see description for link).. This will allow you to adjust your wattage (temp you vape at) from 5.5watts (really cool) to 7.6watts (about right) without worrying of 'frying' your liquid by heat or hurting your battery by pulling too much power. Really, and perfect ohm, 2.2.

I get about 6-6.5 hours on the EVOD blister pack one that is 650mah... The iTaste VV V3 is only 80mah, so about an hour or so longer. I dont have mine yet to compare (on slow boat from China

edit 2: I say '6-6.5 hours', but I pretty much 'chain vape' constantly. Those who dont can get an all day charge on one..

Here is a side-by-side of the eGo and EVOD batteries. They are both 650mah, but the taller one is the EVOD and is taller 'cause of the extra circuitry used for variable voltage. As you can see, they are wider than a Blu, but not really taller (I have a 21st Century ecig for comparison) and the threads are the same. The EVOD threads are the outside ones, the eGo are the smaller inside ones. The main difference is the button. The EVOD's is recessed and less likely to be 'bumped' in your pocket.

I've never dealt with alternatecig, I saw this on Gotsmok. It is a 900 mah battery with a CE4 and charger for 6.00.
The way they have the price is a little strange, it's listed as 16.95, then when you pick the 900mah battery it has -10.95. I added to cart and it does come out to 6.00/ each
