Is this an authentic Magma?

So I picked up an authentic Magma rda from a local vape shop the other day, but after checking them out online I noticed some differences which makes me think this might not be truly authentic...or maybe it's an older batch or something?

For starters, the build quality wasn't exactly what I expected..it sits a little crooked on my mod (other tanks are fine) and each hole has metal shavings/scraps on the inside which makes the AFC ring difficult to adjust. Also the post aren't exactly perfect and the screws look kinda warped...but it's all functioning.

What's really confusing me is that It came in the little treasure box, but mine looks different than the ones I've seen...in fact I haven't come across a single Magma rda that comes in the treasure box I got.

It's also got some blue foam mashed in there instead of the neatly placed white cushion.

Suck My Mods did a video comparison of the Magma authentic and clone, and mine doesn't seem to have the design of the clone (one post higher than the other, darker engraving) but I can't help but wonder.

What do you guys think?

Hmm, neither box matches mine exactly, but the upper pic does look closer. But sounds like yours is either a bad authentic or a bad clone. I have both the Authentic Magma and the infinite clone. Both are exceptionally well made, and the clone is almost identical, and damn hard to distinguish from the Authentic. Only way I can tell is the mounting holes on the clone are a tad smaller than the authentic. Me clone didn't come with the treasure box, but the authentic did.

Personally would take it back to the B&M and address your concerns and see how it compares with another one in stock. How much did you pay for it??

Authentic ~110, clone is twenty something, stateside vendors any who, probably be cheaper on FT.

And my treasure box is different from those two posted. Mine is more white. Nevertheless, one thing I found that differs between my authentic and Infinite clone is the AFC ring. The authentic air holes on both the inside and outside of the AFC ring are chamfered, but the clone air holes are not............on either side. Only thing I found to tell them apart. I will say that the clone is spot on in performance and looks.

Yeah none of the afc holes on mine are chamfered on the inside, just the outside. Also one of the air holes is but the one on the opposite side isn't. Hmm..well from what i've gathered it is not a clone, but maybe a bad authentic or something of the sort. The b&m I got it from is pretty strict on their return policy ("well ya shouldve known before ya bought it!") so I'm a bit hesitant to even try. Knowing I can get a true authentic for even cheaper pisses me off though :T Guess it can't hurt to try. Well thanks guys.

I also have a Paradigm Magma and it is built solid. It has none of the things you're pointing out. ;/ I would bring it back to the B&M and show them. It isn't supposed to be like that.
