Couldn't find much on it, a couple of Youtube reviews. Build quality looks decent enough I guess and vv adjustment being in the top cap is kinda nifty although I'd personally be a bit suspect of the durability adjusting it that way.

The 14500 battery would be a - for me, a 14500 and 18350 are going to give around the same battery life with the 18350 being shorter. I'd personally go with a iTaste V3 which will give you an ohm meter and vw option over the vPower or something like a Vamo in 18350 mode which may even be shorter, give the ohm and vw option and also have the option to go with a longer battery if you need better battery life.

So far i only have the evod starter kit and a few spare BCCs, which i love but i don't want to buy anymore stick batteries, once they die, they're gone! I want to remove/replace batts, otherwise I would have gone for the itaste V3.

I was going to get a vision spinner (I'm still really new to all this, 6weeks in) the link I posted basically looks like the same thing (to me anyway) but with removable/replaceable batteries?

I really like the anyvape CVI but I cannot find one ANYWHERE! The site I just linked also sells the vamo, which again I do like and I prefer the VW option, I know this is the one I should choose, I might one day need the ohm checker too but the vamo is a little dearer, doesn't come with batts or charger and let's face it, I'm going to want two...maybe 3, must buy back ups right!! :) Hmm, maybe one vamo with the itaste for a back up and two vpower and use my evods as back ups to those...dude I need a money tree!

Are there any other alternatives that are reasonably priced. I want something long lasting, very long lasting. If we get sucker punched with the ban I want to be sat vaping away, not sat on the floor sucking my thumb after a few months because I've ran out if power!

I found this a little confusing, sorry! Which batteries would be best, the 18350 not the 14500?

I have to second the Itaste V3 mate. It is a great way to start on the VV/VW road and will be close to the evod/EGO form factor.
A twist/spinner/winder VV ego style might be a back up option if you get the VV bug.

If you are concerned: one ego battery may last 3-6 months. (presuming no physical damage).
Two in rotation, should yield a solid 6 months minimum for each.
Three batteries in the mix and this time next year, you will be giving one to your neighbour so he can "see what it's all about".

If the evods are keeping you off the rollies, then buy more evods?

Plenty of great UK vendors on-line and B&M.

Good luck

Both are good batteries and have about the same battery life as long as you go for a quality brand from a trusted vendor. Just depends on which form factor you like most. The numbers on the battery indicate size, 18350 is 18mm in diameter and 35mm long. 14500 is 14mm Dia and 50mm long.

I did find the post about number and battery size helpful, thanks BTW :) not sure what SWIG is meant to mean though?

Have changed my mind about 20times since I posted this, just been in hospital with my little girl so playing thread catch up.

Been hooked on the pre order nexgen futura thread, just read through it all! wow, I so want one of those. Hope everyone's order arrives before Xmas with no further probs. Thrasher, I'm sure I saw you on that thread, well your pic anyway (I have that pic on my old laptop) don't usually pay much attention to user names, I'm lazy like that. Anyway, was it you? Did you get your vapemail?

worth every penny.
we did our best to trust the guy, he admits to screwing up and while knowing how to design something he learned a hard lesson on actually running a business(not as simple as he thought it would be) and it payed off handsomely.

Nice, glad it came through for you :) yes, jon did go missing for quite sometime, guess it's a lot of pressure when you got folks beating down your door. I wish him and mike well, looks like they are all set now.

I have looked on his site but I can't see any personalized patterns/prints, just the colour selection. He said early on in the thread there would be some simple designs (I think camouflage type and some others). I best get saving some penny's after Xmas and hope he ships to the UK.

Congrats on the awesome purchase, so jealous over here :)
