Should I buy a box mod now, or wait for the next "wave"?

I'm not sure how much longer my Cloupor Cana 30w is going to last so I'm being pushed into the market. If I had to buy right now, It'd be the sigelei 50w v2 with the ipv mini v2 taking a close second. If I wanted more power, it would be the sigelei 100+ or the sigelei 150w.

The end of march and april promise another wave of devices methinks with improved offerings or, at least, price drops on the gear that's available now. The ipv mini v2 is an incredible value at $70 but it will be a better deal at $55 or $50 by the end of April.

The IPV Mini V2 is already under $60.

Like other technology, there will always be something else around the corner. Buy something and enjoy it otherwise you will always be waiting.

Thats exactly right , the key is to make absolutely certain that the device your buying has everything you want and need as that will make it unnecessary to buy more in the future .

The people who are never satisfied always buy devices that don't meet their needs and therefor they always see something new with a feature they wanted but forgot about.

Buy a device that covers all your needs and save yourself a ton of money because new mods will ALWAYS be coming out and a new improved version will be released right after you think you just bought the perfect device.

You can't play the waiting game, unless funds are a major factor
I can understand in devices over $100.00, as it took me 3 days to go for the SX MINI (still 189.00)
But its by far the best device I have owned

Preset 1 at 17W to heat my coil
Preset 2 at 35W for my Tanks
Preset 3 at 50W for my RDA
Preset 3 at 65 for when I want that heat!

I almost want to get another !

I still have the Original IPV2 - got it at 80.00 pre order when they first came out
Do I wish I waited for the next 3 iterations that came later - Nope as it is and was a fine device

Prices will continue sub 70.00 for many great devices and there will be plenty of unreg Box mods that get smaller as well

If you have the funds, enjoy now !

Boy can I relate to THAT! I hadn't been vaping a week, when she started back in with "When are you going to quit?"

Yeah, my wife was threatening to divorce me if she caught me smoking any more (don't know if that threat was real, but I got the message, and I didn't really want to be smoking regardless), so I told her that I heard about these new "e-cig" things and they sounded promising. If she promised not to give me crap about "smoking", I would make the switch.

About eight months later, she actually said (looking at the boxes of vape gear in our basement) "How about you just smoke, like, one or two cigarettes a week and quit with the vaping! I won't even get mad...", lol.

I spent more money in my first year of vaping than I had probably spent on cigarettes my entire life, lol! (at my heaviest, right before I quit, I was still only smoking a pack/pack and a half every week)

I have yet to go into the black. I actually tallied my receipts after my first year of vaping. I smoked about a pack a day before. I saved a grand total of $153. Coming up on year two mark in one month. Probably didn't do much better. I bought much less but what I bought cost way more. I have leveled out now so I may turn a profit year three. But at any rate the amount of time I added to my life is priceless.

Although I've spent dramatically more on vaping equipment than I would have on tobacco products, it isn't really correlative in my case. I have had several hobbies in recent years and vaping has replaced a few...thus offsetting much of the cost of vape tackle. Because of this, I really only count the cost of juice as being directly analogous to my tobacco spending.
