Is this just a myth or does it actually work?

I don't know about making it steep faster, but some of my juice says to shake it on the bottle. If they tell me to shake, I shake.

Do you hate your juice? I usually vape juice as soon as I get it. It usually tastes OK. It does improve when I've had it longer. I've never had a terrible juice go from bad to good steeping. I've had good ones get better. Terrible ones usually just get a little less terrible.

I've heard about people putting their juice in a cup of warm water to make it steep faster. Don't know if that's a myth or not.

Shaking mixes the ingredients, which could be different buoyancy. If there are elements that could evaporate, like water and alcohol, shaking would bring some to the top to depart. I shake and leave the bottle open for a while. I can smell the difference before and after (less harsh), but that's personal, empirical evidence.
