Is this normal with clearos?

A week ago I bought some clearos to try out, but I have only received the syringe to fill them with today. My fault, no one elses!

I filled the clearo with coffee juice, and vaped for a while. No coffee flavour. Just a sort of synthetic plastic flavour. Plenty of vapour though. So I put the syringe back in, extracted all the coffee juice, and decided to try again with vanilla. Again lots of vapour, but the flavour is the same!

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I think both juices are 50/50 VG/PG, and around 6mg nico.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I have gone back to my cartos for now.

Sorry, forgot to say. The clearos are 'Tidy 10 510's according to the packet....

It sounds like wicking problems, but that shouldn't be occurring with 50/50 juice. If you pop off the mouthpiece and drip one drop into the bowl, do you get better flavor? If not, the juice is a little weak on flavorings.

This is why its good to have a standard atty around to drip into and test flavors. Drip it directly into the coil and test. If there's no flavor, then it's the juice.

Some clearos are known for plastic taste. I'd shop around and try some other designs. You might want to try a Smoktech DCT carto tank. They are cheap at around $12 and provide great taste and flavor.

Many thanks. I tried a different juice, and a different clearo, and it seems to be working. maybe the juice was too high in VG (wasn't labelled!). I will keep an eye on it...
