Before I make any assumptions, I wanted to check with the ECF community as a whole to see if this is just the way things are...or did I get screwed over a little.

I'm still pretty new to pv's and all that goes along with them, but I have a local brick and mortar store that's been a great resource to get me started. All my equipment, e-juice, etc has come from there so far. Today I received my first mail order of e-juice from a vendor I found here on ECF. Obviously I was pretty excited to open them up and get to vaping, but as I looked each bottle over I thought they must have leaked because they didn't look nearly full enough. Nope, they were sealed...no leaks. So I peeled back the labels to check. Looks like each of the 5ml bottles I ordered is only 2/3 to 3/4 full.

So my question is, is this the norm? Did I get shorted? Or are these bottles actually larger than 5ml and the liquid inside is correct? I probably wouldn't even have noticed except that when I get a 5ml from my local store there's not nearly as much empty space in there. Yeah, it's a minute amount we're talking about, but I think everyone wants to get what they pay for. I'd rather not mention the vendor name or show the labels -- not trying to slam anyone...just want to know if I should avoid them in the future.

Most bottles that vendors provide do have head space (air space)....... they can hold more than whatever amount they are used for. The only way to know for sure is to measure out 5ml and fill one of those bottles when it is empty. The juices I use mostly come in bottles with a rounded shoulder at the top and the liquid inside does not usually go above the point where it begins to curve. If it does, I've received extra.
