Is this really not smoking? New 510 user...

I just got my 510 kit in the mail. Charged it up, started off right away with blank cartridges and filled/dripped myself using e-liquid. I am getting amazing hits and it literally looks like it's smoke. Is this really vapor and not smoke? It's almost too good to be legit! Will this set off a smoke alarm?

The coil heats up the liquid and it 'boils' and gives off a gaseous form - that's usually called 'vapor'. When a solid it heated to burning point, it also gives off a gaseous form - usually called 'smoke'. You decide. Vapor will set off most smoke alarms that I'm aware of because they are based on sensing something that blocks light and vapor will do that.

No burning, no combustion, no smoking. : )

There was a video awhile back of someone setting off a smoke alarm with vapor. You literally have to blow constant clouds of vapor directly at the alarm.

Blow the vapor into a clear bottle or jar and you`ll see the moister build up. Now try that with smoke. Happy you seem to like it so much. Amazing how well these things work.

I have vaped in an airplane bathroom by blowing the vapor at the floor, not the alarm. Did not set off the alarm for me, but I've heard it did for someone else here on the forum. >cough< cash...
