Is vaping an appetite suppressant like smoking?

Do you find that vaping has the same effect?

I know when I was younger and smoked 2 packs a day I could go all day without feeling hungry.
(Yeah... real healthy I know )

Since I "quit" smoking 8 years ago I have really put on the pounds... about 45 to be exact.
Right now I'm on again/off again/backsliding/bumming around smokers and it kills my appetite for a little while but then when I don't smoke for a few weeks I gain back every ounce and then some more extra.

That really was the only "positive" side to smoking and I can only hope that vaping nic might have the same benefit.
How about it?
What say you?

Sorry to disappoint but I have the same experience. Since my smoking has decreased to close to zero, I feel I am eating all the time! :glare:

I used to jump in my car without breakfast, do whatever I had to do and suddenly feel hungry at 4 PM (all the while, packed with energy). Now, if I don't eat something at the start of the day, I feel I am going to pass out :(

It's not an appetite suppressant BUT it has curbed the wicked sweet tooth I have. Add in there that you have to up the intake of water and in a little over 4 weeks I've lost 15 pounds as of yesterday.

My problem now is that I want to drink some of the juices because they're so good LOL.

To me i think it could go both ways.As when i get a sweet tooth instead of reaching for fattening snack i usually drip a few drops of Waffle,Butterfinger or other sweet flavor vape at 0mg nic and that satisfy s my sweet tooth and i am getting 0 nicotine so it is just for the flavor .And i have actually gained some weight since vaping, but i am not complaining as i was very underweight
