The Pit of Despair
Just received the iSeason today. Apparently it's made by RainbowHeaven, or at least that's what alibaba says.

This is a stainless steel Adam clone that comes standard with tubes for 18650 and 18350 batteries.

Some pics:

The device in its box:

In 18650 mode with both rings:

Disassembled except switch:

Top cap. Note that the 510 sleeve is flush with the surrounding area, and both have air slots:

The switch. The knurling is quite nice on this one. The shorter knurled nut holds the switch to the tube body, while the larger acts as a lock for the push-button switch.

The sleeves can also be assembled without the rings, leaving a "slot" that's finished identical to the sleeves for a nice clean look:

Without the ring in 18350 mode. It's quite small in this mode, approximately 3-1/4":

Switch disassembled. Very impressive threads and design. The spring lies in the sleeve in the center, and the brass screw simply screws into the switch knob to create the switch. Nicely designed and built:

The whole lot:

18350 mode without ring, ViviNova mounted:

Same with a Boge carto:

And the reason I bought this mod, for the AGA-T2. Outside diameter is virtually identical:

18350 mode next to my Provari in 18490 mode for size comparison:

I'm extremely impressed with this little guy. The threading on the tubes and caps is very smooth and burr-free. The adjustable bottom spring is a bonus for flat-top or button-top batteries -- there's enough adjustment to use either. The switch is very easy to press and a very neat design. I imagine the switch design is based on the Adam, but I don't have one to compare.

There's quite a bit of room left when the 18350 is inserted, but not enough for an 18490. It's close, but not quite. I'm hoping they come out with an 18490 sleeve for this.

Overall it addresses a lot of what I wanted in a mechanical mod: brass contacts, a pinky-button (I love this button!), flush 510 connector, and multiple battery choices. An 18490 sleeve would make it just about perfect.

I'm curious to know what the voltage drop is on this guy, but I don't have the equipment to test it.

How's the threading? Does it seem like it will hold up for a long time without any issues? Is the threading nice and smooth, or does it have a bit of resistance to it?

I did address this above, but just to add a bit to it: they are similar in quality to Provari threads, if that gives you an idea. Very smooth and "buttery", as pbusardo puts it. The switch lock nut can be spun with one finger from locked to unlocked in a single motion as well.

I've been using it all day and this is a solidly-built device.

any way to get rid of the spring? I don't do mods with springs anymore (other than switches). longer bottom contact? interested but only if that spring can be nixed

You'd probably end up with battery size issues. Just buy one and see, I am sure you can flip it in the classies if it's not for you.

It "threads" into the brass sleeve, making it adjustable -- twisting the spring screws or unscrews it from the threads in the sleeve.

So I suppose something could be modded to fit those threads. The threads are very coarse to match the pitch of the spring. The switch contacts the brass sleeve so anything above that is fair game to mod. You can order brass rod threaded in any size and thread-pitch you want, so I suppose it's entirely possible to screw a post into those threads to make contact with the battery. Or just press-fit a brass rod into the sleeve.

these are avail from OKCvapes. I just bought one yesterday. I have scoured the net searching for "Iseason" and i found nothing but a few pictures. and all i had to do was search for "adam clone" and i got right to this thread and a few others. The picture with the AGA-T is exactly why i'm getting this as well. Can't wait to throw some 28gauge on a wick, with .9 or 1.0 ohms, and using this mech mod. Excited. Thank you for the pics

Apparently it's also known as the ZAdam. There's a Malaysian company called Jomvaperz listing them by that name.

Day three with this thing and I'm really happy with it. The finish is absolutely fingerprint-proof. I don't use cartos anymore but I tried it with a LR Boge as a pocketable unit in 18350 mode and it works very well for that purpose. The device can be palmed completely for stealth vaping as well. It's a really nicely made device.

stair, i sent you a PM also but i figured i'd ask on here so others can see.
I have eFest 18350 not an AW - and it will not fire in 18350 mode. my AW 18650 flat top fires without problem but there is some rattling there. when using the 18350 w/ nipple top there is a lot of play and i can't get it to fire. is there a way to adjust the top connector or the spring to fit these batteries ? what battery are you using?
