Issue with Asmodus Minikin 2

Hi everyone. So, i have an issues with a second hand asmodus minikin 2 that i have been given from a friend.

The thing is that the touchscreen doesnt work most of the time, it works perfectly for brief moment and then it stops workin. Im fine without the touchscreen, i have my preferred power configuration, but i updated the firmware of the mod and there it comes the problem. When i installed the update and plugged in the batteries (which are new) a message comes up on the screen that says ''Married batteries w/o damage only!'' and it gives me 2 options ''Yes'' or ''No'' and i cant choose any of them because of the touchscreen not working and i cant use the device. I would aprecciate any help with this issue.
