so im quite new to mods that use batterys, i have a vamo 35w i been using over 6 months, i have 2 18650 batteries a samsung and a efest both 2500mah.
it seems once i get down to 50% reading from my vamo the power out putting is very low as it would be at 100%. i know its logic less power in the battery less power you will get but at 50% it dont even seem that way. with both batteries i tried they both pretty much put out very low power at that percent and just makes me want to not use the battery.

I, too am interested in responses to your question. I am running a Cloupor ZNA 50 with Samsung 18650 2500 mah batteries. I am firing an Atlantis at 30W and finding once the battery reaches about 50% there seems to be a drop in power and when it gets lower, it is noticeable in performance. If I stay with it until about 25% and put it on the charger, the charger flashes on the first of 3 led lights as though it is drained. I don't care as much about the charging thing as the noticeable drop in performance. BTW, I rotate 4 identical batteries all seemingly doing the same.

About 2.5 volts is the Minimum Discharge Voltage Level for many batteries of the 3.7 volt types, so you are actually exceeding the max output of the battery if you're reading 50%. (4.2 maximum charge volts -50% = 2.1 volts)
Way past time to change to a fresh one. You may actually be damaging the battery if you take it down that far.

My Vamo v7 shuts off when the battery hits 3.4v, although the batteries are usually between 3.5-3.6 when I put em on my Nitecore to charge em..

The display is not showing you the entire range of the batteries voltage, only the working range from 3.4-4.2v. If it hits 50%, you're in between those values.

The ZNA 50 just shows an image of a battery that is solid when fully charged and slowly "empties" with use. When it get down "to half" or so, the power seems to start dropping off. I then switch it out with a new one, put it on a charger, and the charger (no led readings just 3 led lights) starts blinking on the one bottom light as though the battery was at its lowest.

Sorry PinkFloydFan, I didn't mean to hijack your thread, but thought our "problems" were the same and was interested in the responses.

You guys are leaving out a mess of information - like what wattage setting you are using and the resistance of the attached device - for anyone to make heads or tails out of this.

From my first post: " I am running a Cloupor ZNA 50 with Samsung 18650 2500 mah batteries. I am firing an Atlantis at 30W". Sorry for the assumption that it would be taken that the Atlantis was running a .5 ohm coil. My second post was an attempt at clarification why 50% was used rather then a specific volt level since my equipment does not provide that detailed information.

But that's OK. Consider my inquiry withdrawn.
