issue with smoketech dual coil carts

Has anyone else had an issue with the recent Smoketech Dual Coil Cartomizers? I'm using the clear carts on a 3.7 box mod and this recent batch is not performing well. A previous order was great--so I ordered three boxes--and these need six or seven primer puffs to get them going--and even then the vapor is weak. My batterys are good. Could it be that I got a bad group in three boxes?

never had any luck with the clear DC's. SS ones are flawless besides the occasional DUD from crappy chinese QC.
