Alright, so I have a Aspire nautilus tank and I recently got a new aspire tank just to add to the collection, pictured here....

Here is my issue.... I got the BVC could for this little guy and when I'm using it theres some leaking going on. Sometimes it worse then others. But I can get some gurgling and literally flip it upside down and drip juice into my pants....

I'm gonna try a BDC coil when I get home and see how that works...

QUESTION ALSO.... I use an MVP 2.0 and I was wondering what's best for this, watts or volts, and what could it handle?? I've been vaping almost two years now and this watts/volts thing is the last thing in trying to wrap my head around. I like a LOT of smoke and a STRONG hit but I don't wanna kill my coils in a day...

I agree the first step is to clean your coils. It also sounds like you may need more power to evaporate the ejuice getting to the coil, and/or loosen the airdraw.

With regard to vv/vw, either will do what you need, which is allow you to change the power to taste. When I was a newer vaper I preferred vw. The idea is that you can use vaying resistance coils and get 'the same vape.'

Later when I got my first ProVari I found that instead of depending on the same vw setting that tuning the power to taste made more sense. Each device can be different and each ejuice flavor can be different. By varying the power you can bring out or hide certain nuances in the flavor profile of an ejuice.

Obviously you can do this with vw as well. It all comes down to experimentation. If you're not into that just use vw.

For those bvc's I run them at 7 to 10w max depending on juice. When I got the bvc's for the wife's et-s I increased wattage slowly and then at a point the flavor changed so I backed it down and the wife's been happy since. We didn't have any problems with leaking on any of the tanks and no burned hits either. I start the wife at 7w with 50/50juice on a new coil and bump to 8w after some use. On the third week of use she's at 10w and I change the head out.

You've been vaping for 2 years? What have you been vaping with?

judging by the picture, my guess is it is a 510 thead tank, and with the beauty ring on, maybe you have airflow problems causing a tight draw, which can cause flooding. Try without the beauty ring; if it works without the beauty ring, then cut the groove on the beauty ring to open up the airflow.

I tried the BVC coils in an ET-S and Mini Vivi Nova-.S and had the same problem. Gurgled constantly and leaked like crazy using 50/50 juice. I then tried the same coils in a Mini Davide and K1, and they worked fine. The Mini Davide has a metal plate at the bottom of the tank that the juice has to trickle down to the coil through 3 tiny holes, and the metal structure around the coil in the K1 covers 2 of the holes in the BVC coil and limits wicking. The BVC coils wick way too much in the older BDC clearos, and it would seem Aspire knows it, since the K1 that was designed for the new BVC coils limits wicking. I get the best flavor with them at 10-11 watts on my MVP 2.0, and at lower watts still have the occasional gurgling. I usually vape the same juices at 7-8 watts in my Kanger clearos.
