I have a Vapre 51, owned for at least 6 months now, and all of a sudden yesterday it quit working. LED lights a no show and no vape action going. After playing with it for a little bit I found out it will still work - when I loosen the connection between the atomizer and battery casing. I've tried a couple different atomizers - a normal 801 and well as an eGo-T - to no avail.

I've also tried cleaning the connections - first just wiping with a dry paper towel, then with rubbing alcohol. I've tried different batteries in my Vapre 51.

I'm simply stumped. I don't know enough to try anything else. Tried searching around to find a similar post; sorry if I missed it and posting the third case of this today, lol.

It works fine as long as I keep the connection just loose enough to not have full on contact between the two connections.

Hoping someone knows something else to try. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Sorry for the misplaced thread - completely missed this is the general area...may of helped looking in the Battery section when I was looking for previous issues. -.-

It is a possibility, just something to check, that the rubber gasket on the battery fitting could have a small tear causing it to ground out when tightened all the way. I would put a volt meter on the pos. and ground of the fitting and check voltage wih button depressed. Then with the pos. lead in the hole move it around and see if you lose voltage. I would start there. Just something to check.
