I've had my MVP 2 with the Iclear 30 for 3 days. Initially I had problems with the vape until I loosened up the top piece that connects the mouth piece. Then the vapes were great. I had no problems with leaks.

Then I topped if off, going from half full to the 3ml mark. Then I had problems with the unit gurgling and little vapor. The unit was leaking and kept acting up. Strangely the tank got down to the half full point. I played around with the unit for a while and the vape started to get better. Then I reset the tightness of the top, and started to get good vapes again. But it was leaking also. Not sure how it got to the half way point so quickly. The leakage was not a gusher, but still some leakage.

Then I topped it off again and the same problems happened again.

Are there some guidelines for topping off a Iclear 30? At what point should you top if off? How full should you fill it? How tight should the beauty ring and bottom pieces be? They are tight by hand and still leakage.

It vapes great, but this is frustrating.

Thank you.

You probably had a vacuum and when loosened it relieved the pressure.

I haven't used ic30 but have used vivi tanks, your not suppose to fill them past the point of the plastic grommet.

I would try emptying the content back in the bottle of juice, disassemble it, clean with warm water, let dry for few, and try filling it 3/4 or below the plastic. Let wick get soaked.

Hope this helps.

Yep, be sure that when you are disassembling everything, and reassembling it, you are not sucking juice into the air channel via the top coils and wicks at the top of the tank. If you don't seal the bottom of the mouthpiece, or you screw it in too hard, you will force liquid into the center air channel. I did this once with an iClear 16 (same wicking/air system) and was totally perplexed until I realized after I had filled the tank, I had pushed in the mouthpiece too fast onto the silicone cap that covers the coils on top, and flooded the thing like crazy. Liquid was streaming out the bottom at the battery connection. To clear it, I unscrewed the mouthpiece to relieve the pressure, used a q-tip on the connections and a pipe cleaner up the center hole (accessed from the bottom.) Also, be sure that your atomizer head is screwed down all the way onto the base of the iClear. Good luck!
